Really happy with this product. As long as I’m fully in the shade and facing the direction of the sun, it works great. Can’t use it in direct sunlight as doesn’t block out the sun enough. Has to be used in conjunction with a parasol.

Best laptop sun shade out there
I work outdoors on a regular basis since my role is home based with some travel and I find it exhausting trying to find locations where I either have no screen glare or do not have to worry about privacy of my screen! Now that is have the Base 12 sun shield I have no such issues, it's easy to use, great quality and covers my screen from any glare. If I want privacy then I can just pull the shield over me and I am working exclusively. If you need to plug in a mouse, charger or any additional products then the base 12 sun shield has a side slit that opens and means that any cables can be run freely and do not have to be thread back past your laptop. All in all a great product, speedy delivery and a whole new way of working!
